The Henry County Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse has planned its annual fundraiser, Cheeseburger at Breakers, for Thursday, June 3rd, 6 pm to 10 pm at Breakers Marina.
Tickets are $10 which includes a one of kind cheeseburger cooked by Henry County Sheriff’s Office Grilling Team, chips, drink, and a Moon Pie/dessert. A limited number of tickets are still available for purchase and pre-sale tables are currently sold out. Children 5 and under are free.
Musical entertainment will be by Randall French. This is a family friendly event.
County Director Carly Wheat said the money raised from the Cheeseburger at Breakers stays in Henry County to ensure the continuance of those needed prevention and trauma-based services.
“We hope to have a big turnout from the community in supporting a great cause as we have had in the past few years. It’s all for the kids, so come out and enjoy the atmosphere all for a great cause!”
