Donations are being accepted for Henry County Schools Teacher and Coach Roddy Adkisson, who is experiencing serious health issues.
Adkisson is a teacher at Henry School, where he also coaches boys’ basketball.
On Friday night, February 5, at the McKenzie-Huntingdon basketball game, donations will be accepted at the gate for Adkisson, who was a 1988 McKenzie graduate.
On the McKenzie High School Rebels’ Basketball Facebook page, school officials said, “If you know him, you love him! And if you don’t know him, then you need to!”
For those who can’t attend Friday nights game, the school will also be accepting donations in the McKenzie High School office starting this morning until Friday.
There also is an account set up at Carroll Bank in Paris for donations to help with medical bills, travel expenses, etc for Adkisson. For those of you who live out of town and would like to give, you can send to Renae Lassiter via Venmo @Renae-Lassiter. Lassister also is a teacher and coach at Henry County Schools and an Athletic Director for the school district.
