A Farmers Market will be set up this season each Friday at the Holly Fork Shooting Complex on Hwy. 79N.
Organizer Alice Scarbrough said it will start this Friday, with vendors setting up at 1 p.m. and open to customers from 2-6 p.m.
A meeting of vendors was held last night and Scarbrough said, “It was a good meeting” and several vendors have already signed up.
She said anyone can call her at 731-707-1167 for information or inquiring about being a vendor.
The market will be set up in the parking lot and vendors will bring their own tents.
The Henry County Farmers Market committee at the fairgrounds had announced earlier it would not be open this year due to the pavilion at the fairgrounds being painted and scheduling conflicts.
