HCMC Winter Wear Drive

Henry County Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary is collecting winter wear for the Henry County Family Resource Center during the months of November and December. The Auxiliary is asking for donations of warm hats, gloves, scarves, and socks.

While warm winter accessories are being requested, other winter wear is welcome and will be donated to the center as well.

“We are happy to collect for the Family Resource Center again this year,” said Tory Daughrity, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “The Volunteer Auxiliary not only strives to make a difference at HCMC but in our community as well. This project is small, but so significant to those who are in need.  Our Auxiliary is excited to be able to do this, especially since COVID-19 has limited what they have been able to do.”

All donations will be gladly accepted in the HCMC Pink Petal Gift Shop by December 18, 2020. The Pink Petal Gift Shop is open modified hours due to COVID-19, but are open Monday through Friday.  Give them a call or check the website for updates. If you would like to donate money for the Volunteer Auxiliary to purchase supplies, please speak with a gift shop worker or call (731) 644-8531.

The Volunteer Auxiliary at Henry County Medical Center is comprised of nearly 50 volunteers that serve across the organization. Auxiliary volunteers offer their time, talent and dedication throughout the hospital in patient care and clerical settings. Our volunteers come from unique backgrounds and share the common interest in helping others.
