Henry County Healthcare Center and Plumley Rehab are currently planning a free certified nurse aide training course. The course is a 120 hour curriculum and anyone interested in attending must complete a background check and drug screening prior to enrollment to participate.
A nursing aide works directly with patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and typically work in assisted living facilities, hospitals, hospice nursing homes, and home care. They can be found helping patients with a variety of daily tasks such as self-care, taking vital signs, assisting with range-of-motion exercises, feeding, and other activities of living. They report to nursing and play a key role in patient care.
HCHC plans to offer the course soon and encourages anyone interested to contact one of the following:
Judy Planty, RN, Course Instructor: 731-644-8901
Peggy Jacques, RN, DNS: 731-644-8914
Sandra Ray, Administrator: 731-644-8912
