The year 2022 marks the 200th anniversary of Huntingdon and all year long the Town has been celebrating each month with a different event. October will be about the Cemeteries in Huntingdon and there will be a tour featuring live actors. Tickets will be available during our festival.
You will not want to miss this limited opportunity to tour two of Huntingdon’s cemeteries on Saturday, October 22 at 3 pm & 4:30 pm. Participants will meet at Huntingdon’s City Hall parking lot and board either the Town train or the Town bus.
There will be two stops on the tour: Clark Cemetery and Oak Hill Cemetery. At each location there will be live actors portraying historical figures or their families. This event is free and open to the public, however tickets are required.
Tickets may be picked up at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center beginning on Saturday, September 24 at 10am (during Huntingdon Heritage Festival). If any tickets remain, they will be available during normal business hours at The Dixie Carter PAC (M-F, 10-4p).
