The McKenzie Farmers Market opened for the season Saturday with a good-sized crowd, fresh produce, baked goods, crafts and more. Hours for the Farmers Market are from 3-6 p.m. Tuesdays and 8 a.m.-noon on Saturdays. Next Saturday, June 11, the Colton Baker Country Band will play from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
They will have fresh produce, delicious fruit pies, baked goods, beautiful handmade baskets and crafts, and pick up your pre-packaged home-made meals to take home and serve from the “Lunch Ladies” while you wash it down with fresh “Looney Lemonade.” The McKenzie Farmers Market is held in a permanent location (both indoors and outdoors) in downtown McKenzie across the street from the City Hall.
