Music Director Heads to Competition in Puerto Rico

Min-Kyo Jung, music director at First Presbyterian Church in Paris, Tennessee, has been declared a finalist in the International Collaborative Piano Competition in San German, Puerto Rico, scheduled for June 2023.

The aim of the Puerto Rico Center for Collaborative Piano is to provide a high quality, affordable, bi-lingual, international summer music festival for pianists desiring to enhance their collaborative skills. PRCCP seeks to advance historically excluded musical voices through our leadership, repertoire selections, workshop topics, and location. All concerts are free of charge to the local community in San Germán, Puerto Rico.

The festival is open to undergraduate, graduate, amateur, and professional pianists. 

The Reverend Tommy Taylor, pastor at First Presbyterian, said “We are so proud of Min and his accomplishments. We are blessed to have him leading the music and sharing his talents with our congregation.”

Sunday worship services begin at 11 am each Sunday at First Presbyterian, located at 105 South Market Street in Paris, Tennessee. More information is available on the First Presbyterian Church, Paris TN Facebook page.
