Paris Academy Valentine Bazaar

Paris Academy for the Arts will be featuring handcrafted items and artwork for sale at their Valentine’s Bazaar this Saturday, February 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The bazaar will include a variety of handmade jewelry, pottery, decorative glass, wood turned items, greeting cards, hand-dipped candles, among others.

Highlights to this year’s event are the larger number of visual artists and paintings than previous bazaars, including oil paintings by Ann Stapp and John Monroe; watercolors by Tim Pafford; acrylics by Erik Stonebraker; and mixed media miniatures and other artwork by newcomer Delilah Presson.

The Academy will also be selling homemade baked goods and old elementary school books, from its days as Lee School.

The Bazaar is this Saturday, February 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The public is invited to this free event, which helps support the Academy’s program to provide arts classes and enrichment for the community.

Paris Academy for the Arts is located at 402 Lee Street.
