Next Paris Shepherd’s Table Set for February 2

Shepherds Table What's Happening 2-2-23
Volunteers with the Paris Shepherd’s Table pose with the group’s first dine in guests since starting in Paris. When the Paris Shepherd’s Table began, Covid restrictions forced them to be curbside only. In January, they welcomed their first dine in guests and look forward to continuing this going forward.

Shepherd’s Table, at the First Presbyterian Church Of Paris, will serve supper on the first Thursday of each month, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in their fellowship hall, 105 S. Market St. in Paris. The next meal will be February 2nd.

The meals will be served curbside and available for dining in, as well. The volunteers ask that you approach the church on Blythe St. and park by the gate next to the playground.

Alsey Wheatley, member of the First Presbyterian Church says this month’s menu will be a hearty Borscht, a beet and beef soup, black eyed peas, salad and dessert. There is no charge for the meal. Also, there will be a limited number of meals available – so everyone will be served until the food runs out.

More information about volunteering or donating to the Shepherd’s Table may be obtained by calling The First Presbyterian Church of Paris, at (731) 642-2962. If no answer, please leave a message, someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

The church welcomes everyone and hopes to see you on Thursday,February 2nd, beginning at 4:30pm.
