At the City Commission meeting, February 3, Kathy Ray unveiled the prototype for the next Back Alley Paris Mural. This painting will feature “Experience Paris” and includes landmarks throughout our community.
It will be placed in the alley on the back wall of Commercial Bank and the mural will be visible to Wood Street traffic.”Experience Paris” is one of the many art projects throughout downtown created by grants from the Tennessee Arts Commission in conjunction with the City of Paris.
Some of the artwork has included the alley murals, the Eiffel Tower sculpture and the art on the dumpsters around downtown.The “Experience Paris” mural should be completed sometime this summer.
