The Paris Police Department in conjunction with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a Citizens Police Academy beginning in September and running through early November.
Paris Police Chief Ricky Watson said this is a very informative class that will take three hours of your time one night a week for 10 weeks.
Have you ever wondered what it was like working in law enforcement? Just been curious about the procedures of police and the workings of the judicial system?
Join them for the class and they will try and answer all of your questions.
You may pick up an application from the Police Department or the Sheriff’s Department between now and August the 19th if you are interested.
They are asking for a $25 registration fee that will cover the cost of your class t-shirt and graduation dinner.
