The Shepherd’s Table

Shepherd’s Table at the First Presbyterian Church Of Paris will serve supper on the first Thursday of each month, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at their fellowship hall, 105 S. Market St. in Paris. The next meal will be April 7th.

Due to Covid safety regulations at this time the meals will be served curbside only. The volunteers ask that you approach the church on Blythe St. and park by the gate next to the playground. Overflow traffic will be directed to the First Presbyterian parking lot across the street from the church and instructed to move curbside as space becomes available.

Alsey Wheatley, the leader of the kitchen staff has prepared a menu of pork chops, collard greens, root vegetable medley, a Hawaiian roll and a chocolate chip brownie for dessert.  There is no charge for the meal. Also, there will be a limited number of meals available – so everyone will be served until the food runs out.

To fulfill the needs of the community, The Shepherd’s Table is experimenting with the curb-side, drive-thru, carryout method of serving. Please feel free to stop by and take advantage of this complimentary meal. In these trying times, they hope to move to indoor dining soon.

More information about volunteering or donating to the Shepherd’s Table may be obtained by calling The First Presbyterian Church of Paris, at (731) 642-2962. If no answer, please leave a message, someone will get back to you as soon as possible. The church welcomes everyone and hopes to see you on Thursday, Thursday April 7th, beginning at 4:30pm.
